Gilda's Club NYC
Tonight I am going to 'Gilda's Club' on West Houston St. in NYC. I am visiting kids that have a parent or sibling that has or had cancer, or was lost to the disease.
The kids are in a program called 'Noogieland'. I thought for a minute 'noogie' meant 'wedgie'. I am glad I am a dog with built in undies, because I am so small people might try to give me wedgies if they could.
Nah, my mom would protect me.
In the park a week ago, a man told mom I have a 'butt moustache'. Turns out I do, indeed, have one. I guess it's therapeutic to some people to analyze a dog's bottom. That said, just another way I am spreading my brand of 'Chester Therapy'. Look at my puppie butt if you like! The color gradation is exquisite!
Sorry, if I am a wacky pup right now.... I am not really a morning dog!

Chihuahua Meetup Third Anniversary

Hello! Chester and Cosmo here. First of all, I (Ches) will be taping August 9th 2011 for a show focusing on therapy dogs on the Hallmark Channel.
I can't wait! My mama and I have to go to LI, and we look so forward to our day!
Moving along, (really fast, and smelling absolutely everything on the way) we attended Elaine Lewis' meetup yesterday at 'Biscuits and Bath', West Village.
Fun was had by chihuahuas and non chihuahuas alike! We hob knobbed with the chihuahua belonging to Joan Collin's sister, Jackie Collins.
We received a present each at the door, we had the option of a collar or a toy. Our cool mom knew to go for the toys! Although a collar can be munched quite like a toy, but you run the risk of the 'naughty dog' label. Never fun!
I was able to pilfer a small piece of pizza crust from a plate. My little bro bro Cosmo got a cutie pie T shirt that reads," Size Doesn't Matter'. He figured out how to take it off! What a spunkenheimer!
So the party was fab, there was lots of food and drink for the human attendees. I ran around a lot. a papillion named Angel and a doxie named Pickles were actually sassier than I was! A first! I am usually the King of the Sassies.
Anyway, loved the party. Had a blast. Met two lovely pups, Chico and Chiquita from Jersey City. I met others, but they stood out because Chico was like a short haired ME, and Chiquita was a cool Yorkie Chi mix.
Mandee hung out with me, the beautiful Chi owned by Elaine Lewis. We had lots of confidential chihuahua things to discuss.
I also met BeBe, a nice tan chi girl. Her Dad said her name was Cantonese, so maybe I spelled that poorly. I'm a dog, I am not a rad speller!
Oh these parties are fun. Thanks to Elaine for hosting them, and Mom for bringing us over. Total treat!

My life was
So much easier when I didn't have to keep up with the Kardashians. I used to just chew things. Then when mom was flipping through tv channels... I saw. that. show. I want to keep up with Kim Kardashian's leg, or pee on her shoe. I like to pee on things to mark them as for me! She looks like a happy tree! I want to meet her, that's my icon in this society.

I am Chester the long haired Chihuahua. I have a cat sister and brother, Panda and Conklin. I also have a chihuahua smooth haired brother, Cosmo. Little brother! Literally. He is very tiny, but still bosses me around every day.
This is MY blog, but sometimes my mom can update it. I have plenty to say though, I am a dog with a lot of opinions and personality.
I am a therapy dog, and I also want to model with my little brother. I plan to appear on TV soon. I will keep you posted about that!
